Alper KUCUK, PhD
Alper KUCUK, PhD is a behavioral cybersecurity researcher, technology leader, and education innovator with nearly two decades of experience across the technology, telecommunications, and digital learning sectors.
He began his career in the technology industry in 2005 after completing his undergraduate studies in Computer Engineering. He went on to serve as a Project Manager, Enterprise Architect, and Senior Technology Executive at one of Europe’s leading telecommunications companies, where he gained extensive experience in large-scale systems, organizational transformation, and strategic technology management.
He completed his master’s degree through academic work centered on Emotional Intelligence and Psychological Capital, exploring how human capabilities shape organizational performance and decision-making. Following his doctorate, he expanded his research focus to include Behavioral Sciences, Agility, Dark Personality Traits, and the Behavioral Dimensions of Cybersecurity, contributing to the emerging interdisciplinary field of Behavioral Cybersecurity.
Since 2009, he has been actively involved in the development of projects at the intersection of education, technology, and human behavior, while also supporting the ecosystem as an angel investor and entrepreneur. In the field of technology, his work emphasizes cybersecurity and human risk; in education, he focuses on Ubiquitous Learning methodologies, enabling self-directed and continuous learning independent of time and place.
In 2012, Hek founded an education company serving the K12 sector and later launched Edubiqu, an international online learning platform that reaches learners and partners across multiple countries.
Today, he continues his professional journey as the founder and owner of a group of companies operating in Technologyand Education, leading strategic initiatives, research projects, and innovation-focused ventures across these domains.
